Firefighters Burn Institute
The Firefighters Burn Institute is a firefighter & civilian run non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
Provides recovery programs that encourages healing, personal growth and character development to assist in the rehabilitation process of burn survivors free of cost to the burn survivor.
Provides support for regional burn treatment facilities, staff and first responders to assure that the best possible burn treatment is available.
Provides scholarships to burn survivors, firefighters and burn professionals for advancement of burn education and rehabilitation.
Promotes fire safety and burn prevention through public education.
Shriners Hospitals for Children—NorCal
Shriners Hospitals for Children— Northern California receives 10% of the total net proceeds from this event every year. They are a non profit hospital.
Provides the highest quality care to children with burn injuries, neuro-musculoskeletal conditions and other special health care needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative environment.
Provides for the education of physicians and other health care professionals.
Conducts research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of care and quality of life of children and families.
